The Pains of being in Love, but not being Loved in Return...

When I was at the teahouse at Chinatown the other night,
I could only think of sharing that place with you.
When I went to eat my favourite dumplings at Chinatown,
I could only think of sharing them with you.
When I was at NYDC with Joann, I found myself wondering
How it would be like to savour that short time with you.

When I set my watch, I always think
About what time it will be over there,
&what will you be doing.
Will you be having lunch?
Will you be at a mock exercise?
Will you be cleaning your things?
Or will you be sleeping?

Whenever I stay up late &go online,
I will wait patiently for you.
&I'll wonder, if you have had your dinner?
&Did you enjoy it?
During that short time, I wish
Time would stand still &you don't have to go,
Even if we were just talking about nothing at all.

Whenever I hear from you, I'd feel
Warmth &happiness, knowing that you are ok.
&When you are miserable, complete with complains,
I just wish that you won't have to feel all these pain.
When you feel helpless &confused, I feel
The same too, &even desperate, miserable
That I can't make you smile.

I keep hoping that you will find your angel of peace -
Doesn't matter if it isn't me.
I just want you to be happy.
